Vehicle diagnostics are a very specialised field of repair in which the correct  computer software/hardware is an absolute must!

A diagnostic repair is not simply a 'code read' and 'reset'!  It is a far more involved procedure in which the cars onboard computer must first be interogated for fault codes so that the technician can make a start at tracing the cause of the fault.  Live data from the vehicles own sensors is also examined to make an informed decision as to which tests must be performed to find the fault.

At Lewmark Auto Company we have many dealer level diagnostic computers  such as the Mercedes/Smart Star, BMW GT1/SSS, Ford/Mazda IDS, Jaguar/Landrover SDS, Peugeot Planet, Citroen Lexia, Renault Clip, Vauxhall Vaux-Com, VAG 5054 and Vagcom, and Fiat/Alfa/Lancia Multiscan. We also have generic diagnostic computers such as the Snap-On Solus and Launch Diagun.

Further to these units we also have a four channel Picoscope which is a vitally important piece of kit for any diagnostician.
